I would really appreciate it if anyone was willing to attempt retexturing these so that they match the quality of the more recent clay Maxis hairs released (in the standard 18 EA colours). Just to clarify: these are Maxis-Match, but reflect the texture quality of Maxis-Match hairs in the game from years ago. SimpleSimmer’s “Helen” hair (uploaded 9th October 2016): SimpleSimmer’s “Ashley” hair (uploaded 29th August 2016): SimpleSimmer’s “Rachel” hair (uploaded 9th October 2016): These are the specific hairs that I would most love to see updated: SimpleSimmer’s TOU page states that recolors/retextures are allowed so long as mesh isn’t included and credit given (find TOU here: /tou). The hairs are created by a talented CC creator named Camille, otherwise known as SimpleSimmer. I was hoping there might be someone willing to retexture a couple of hairs by another creator? The texture quality doesn’t match the updated textures of the game, and I have tried to retexture these hairs but have been unsuccessful (I have no idea how textures are mapped out in Blender whenever I’ve tried to do this work, the hair lacks shading in the right places/the texture doesn’t match the mesh/the hair turns out overly blurred or sharp and just overall looks beyond terrible).
I have only ever been able to find one creator whose CC hairs best reflect how my hair looks in real life, but the change in the quality of clayified hair from the time of these hairs’ creation to now is becoming more and more apparent.
